Materials
All of my products are made out of precious metals and semi-precious stones. This ensures durability and a longer life for the jewelry. Regardless of the metal used in a jewelry project, there is always a "signature link" in the jewelry, at the clasp end of a necklace, anklet, or bracelet, or in the middle of a ring (easily hidden under a finger). This link (or pair of links, depending on the piece) is simply my way of "signing" the "artwork" I have made, and distinguishing it from that of another "artist". Sometimes it is difficult to see, sometimes it stands out proudly, depending on the metal I use in the project, but it never takes away from the beauty of the piece.
Metals and How to Clean Them
Semi-Precious Stones

I frown on using things such as glass or plastic beads in my pieces. I prefer to use semi-precious stones and Swarovski crystals if I use any kind of beads at all. (The only exception to this is the use of Cat's Eye stones, which are man-made to resemble Tiger's Eye stones, just in different colors.) I keep many stones on hand, and have access to dozens of other kinds of stones. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the stones I have or can get, or for special requests in jewelry!

Here are the stones I currently have in stock:

Amethyst (purple), Fluorite (green/purple), Quartz (clear), Rose Quartz (clear pink), Rhodonite (pink/purple), Garnet (dark red), Hematite (metallic black), Onyx (black), Amazonite (pale green), Jade (green), Goldstone (copper with gold flecks), Sodalite (blue/white), Snowflake Obsidian (black/gray), Howlite (white/gray), Black Goldstone (black with gold flecks), Tourmaline (white/gray), Tiger's Eye (red or orange), Cat's Eye (pink, black, white, or blue)

I like to use charms on my necklaces, but they can be added to bracelets, anklets, and even earrings. As with my chain links, I try to use precious metals, though this isn't always possible. Often, something shiny will catch my eye as I wander through stores and faires, and it quickly gets added to my collection of goodies. Feel free to contact me and inquire about the charms I have!

Brass - A gold colored metal that is an alloy of Copper and Zinc. Brass can be cleaned with any commercially available Brass cleaner, like Brasso.

Bronze - A shiny, dark copper colored metal that is an alloy of Copper and Tin. It tarnishes and will turn the color of a bronze sculpture or an old penny over time. It has slightly more corrosion resistance than Brass. Bronze can be cleaned with any commercially available Brass cleaner, like Brasso.

Copper - A reddish colored metal that corrodes quite easily. It starts the color of a shiny new penny and can either darken or turn depending on how it is used.

Niobium - A strong, corrosion resistant and hypo-allergenic metal. When anodized, colors are beautifully vibrant. In raw wire form, it is a dark silver/gray color. Niobium is slightly heavier than Stainless Steel and slightly lighter than Sterling Silver.

Stainless Steel - Strong and clean, Stainless Steel doesn't rust.

Titanium - A very light, strong, and very corrosion resistant metalwith a matte light gray finish.

14k Gold fill - Made from a 14k yellow gold tube filled with a half-hard temper brass. There is very little chance of wearing through the gold layer with normal use.
