Growing up, I always had an interest in the Middle Ages; Knights, dragons, kings and kingdoms. Armor always fascinated me, the time and craftsmanship that went into protecting the warriors in combat. It took a Master Armorsmith to forge the armor that would be worn into battle that would ensure that he came back alive.
Over time, I studied what I had seen, and my interest continued to grow. I held in my hand a small piece of chain mail intended to be used as armor, and I said, "I can do that." A few dollars and some time, dedication, and devotion later, I found myself making armor the way it had been done centuries ago.
My interest from there turned to the more modern world. How could I combine my new skill I had with the fashion of today's society? The answer: jewelry. And thus began the business that is now Gothic Nights.
